ROTA Color and Model Guide
This guide is intended to assist our customers in making an informed purchase. This guide has three sections, the first section is a glossary of terms used by Rota to describe the color/style. The second section shows the stock photos from ROTA. The third section are photos of the rims on cars in several different lighting conditions. Lighting plays a huge role in what the rims will look like in a photo as you will soon see. Click on an image to view an enlarged version. If you don't see a color on a specific model here, don't worry it is probably because ROTA doesn't have a photo of it on their site, and the rim is probably available.
Glossary of Terms
Royal [insert color here]: The term Royal in front of a color means that the rim will have a polished silver lip along with the designated color. Example, Royal Black.
Full Royal [insert color here]: The term Full Royal in front of a color means that the rim will have a polished surface and lip and that the only part with the designated color will be on the side of the spokes and inside the rim. There is an exception to this definition which I will go over next. Example, Full Royal Black.
Full Royal Sports Bronze: This specific color is an exception to the definition above for the reason that it completely contradicts the above defintion. This specific color is a "new" color and is a variation on the Bronze color theme. This color also causes the most confusion among customers because it contradicts the defintion as well as the fact that this color is hard to capture in a photograph. I personally think it is a very cool color, and judging by the fact that this color is almost always out of stock I think the customers think it is cool too.
